Facilities for Group Work and Training

In addition to four spacious consulting rooms we have a large room available for hire, to hold group events such as courses, workshops or talks.

The Stillpoint Practice occupies a detached Victorian house on a pleasant tree lined road, two miles from Sheffield city centre.

The group room is on the first floor, is carpeted and measures 12 x 4 metres (38 x 13 feet). The room is light and airy with windows at both ends. It is minimally furnished to preserve maximum floor space. However chairs and small tables are also available as required.

Additional facilities

At weekends the kitchen/ common room is available at no extra charge. The kitchen is ideal for eating and relaxing in, it has a microwave and gas cooker.

A bathroom with shower facilities is available (towels etc not provided).

The use of a smaller room in addition to the group room is sometimes possible for an additional charge

Accommodation and refreshment options

HWe do not provide residential accommodation or catering services. However there are several small hotels close by, including the Montgomery Hotel which is nextdoor and also has restaurant and bar faciclities. A variety of shops and small supermarket are within 5 minutes walk, as are three cafes including The Homemade Cafe/Deli with a predominantly vegetarian menu (open till 2pm Sundays). A larger supermarket and wide range of cafes, restaurants and delicatessens are approximately 5 minutes drive away.
