Counselling & Psychotherapy
There are often times in our lives when we don’t feel quite like our usual self. This could be because we are feeling down or worried and perhaps we don’t know why. We may have noticed that the way we are feeling is not good for our emotional health and relationships.
Depression, anxiety and stress are often normal reactions to difficult events in our lives and sometimes these feelings pass with time. When they don’t or they keep resurfacing, we need to find effective solutions that will enable us to move forward.
I offer a safe place where we can work together to help you when any type of psychological distress becomes a burden. In my therapeutic practice I use a range of approaches that I tailor to your individual needs.
I work on a one-to-one basis with adults who may be having difficulties with any of the following:
Obsessive compulsive behaviour
Feelings that your life is not how you want it
Coping with chronic or life-threatening illness
I use a variety of therapeutic methods including psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).
